Visits and an active co-operation in different workshops dealing with bees are offered to the visitors every day from 10.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. How do bees live, are all members of a bee colony quite busy or only some of them? Where does honey come from? Which are the advantages of biological beekeeping over traditional apiculture? Our beekeepers will answer any of your questions. In addition to the visit of the beehouse, the extraction of honey, the creative candle workshop, the making of beehive frames, the realization of funny ceramic bees and cookie baking in the day labourer’s house, the visitor is invited among others to ride a donkey, to make a sightseeing tour in a horse-drawn carriage or to discover the countryside. |
